Project Introduction
Swift AES is engaged in a multifaceted project to develop state-of-the-art equestrian facilities. This involves the construction of purpose-built structures and infrastructure designed to support a thriving equine environment. The project emphasizes robust construction, efficient design, and adherence to best practices in equestrian facility development.
Scope of Work
The project encompasses several critical components, ensuring a complete and integrated equestrian complex:
Steel-Framed Barn & Stables (60x35ft): Construction of a durable and functional steel-framed building housing multiple stables and potentially ancillary areas.
Hot Water Shower Room: Installation of a dedicated facility for horse washing, equipped with a hot water supply.
Arena (40x20m): Creation of a professional-grade riding arena suitable for various equestrian disciplines.
Muck Heap: Establishment of a designated, managed area for the efficient disposal and storage of horse manure.
Fencing: Installation of secure and appropriate fencing for paddocks, boundaries, and internal divisions.
Groundwork & Drainage: Comprehensive site preparation, leveling, and implementation of effective drainage systems across the entire facility.
Concreting: Laying of concrete surfaces for stable aisles, wash bays, and other high-traffic areas.
Key Project Phases and Considerations Phase 1: Site Preparation & Infrastructure
Groundwork & Drainage: This foundational phase involves extensive site clearing, leveling, and preparation. A robust drainage system will be implemented to manage surface water, prevent waterlogging in the arena and paddocks, and ensure stable ground conditions.
Concreting: Strategic areas such as stable aisles, wash bays, and pathways concreted to provide durable, easy-to-clean, and safe surfaces for horses and handlers.
Fencing: High-quality, safe, and appropriate fencing installed to define boundaries, create secure paddocks, and ensure the safety of horses within the facility.
Phase 2: Core Equestrian Structures
Steel-Framed Barn & Stables (60x35ft): This phase focuses on the construction of the main barn structure. The steel frame ensures longevity and stability. Inside, individual stables designed with horse welfare in mind, including appropriate dimensions, ventilation, and durable materials.
Hot Water Shower Room: A dedicated, easily accessible hot water shower room constructed, providing a comfortable and efficient space for grooming and washing horses, particularly beneficial in colder weather.
Phase 3: Riding Arena Construction
Arena (40x20m): The riding arena is meticulously constructed with multiple layers to ensure optimal drainage, footing, and longevity. The 40x20m dimensions are standard for many equestrian activities. Selection and installation of appropriate riding surface material (e.g., sand, synthetic blends) are critical for performance and horse soundness.
Phase 4: Ancillary Facilities & Finishing Touches
Muck Heap: A well-designed and accessible muck heap area established for efficient waste management, promoting hygiene and reducing environmental impact.
Utility Connections: Ensuring all necessary utility connections (water, electricity) are in place for the hot water shower room, lighting, and other facility needs.
Safety & Accessibility: Throughout all phases, emphasis will be placed on safety features, accessibility for machinery and horses, and overall functionality of the entire equestrian complex.
Expected Outcomes
Upon completion, the project has delivered:
A fully integrated and highly functional equestrian facility designed for efficiency and horse welfare.
Durable, low-maintenance structures built to professional standards.
A safe and comfortable environment for both horses and riders.
Improved operational efficiency through well-planned infrastructure and facilities.

Swift AES committed to delivering this project safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality, providing a premium equestrian environment built to last.
